The costs of cancer treatment is skyrocketing and the news is filled with accusations of gouging and greed on the part of the pharmaceutical manufacturers. In the middle of that are the cancer patients currently under treatment who are struggling to cover the costs of their care. There are a number of organizations that provide assistance to patients. Help is usually determined by need, insurance status and other variables but it is worth looking into if your resources are dwindling or you are faced with having to stop your treatment because of financial need.
